Have just done a word count on my dissertation - 1,500 word, woo-hoo! So I'm feeling pretty chirpy and have decided to post a diary entry.

Mm, Tuesday. Good telly tonight - CSI, Boomtown, Buried, NYPD Blue, and Manchild. Shame it all clashes. But hey, that's why God invented vcrs.

Am feeling pretty chirpy all round, really, despite the lack of Tom McRae goodness on Sunday. Work is going okay, finally. Have vented my feelings on Satan Hamilton by working him into a story and then beating the living daylights out of him. Get to watch lots of stuff with Chris, once he has the time. Plus, Mum is coming up to visit in a week and a bit. Finally!! Have been feeling slightly left out, seeing as Mithu's parents visit her about once every month, Laura's parents come up once a term, whilst I've seen mine about once in three years... and given that I've got four of them, this is a pretty low statistic. Worked out that Chris's parents have been to see him more than mine have seen me. And Chris's parents live in Hong Kong, for the love of god!!

Anyways, yes, half of my parental unit is coming to visit. Woo!

And again.... I'd like to say how there are some really wonderful people out there. Rob, Sarah and Sandra spring to mind. Hugs to you all.
