I went on a *slight* shopping spree today and bought 4 CDs from MVC (five for 36 quid, leave me alone!) The Best of Cyndi Lauper, Tom Waits: Used Songs, Ben Folds Five: Whatever and Ever, and Captain Beefheart: the Spotlight kid. Dad would be so proud! Except for Cyndi, lol.

Went to see X-men. Not a brilliant movie, but standard comic books fare, and damn entertaining. Not enough Patrick, and no death match between him and Ian! No fair. It also suffers because only Wolverine gets any character development, the rest are paper thin. And yet again, Professor Xavier, the most powerful character in the damn thing, has to be rescued. Again. Bother it.

Saw a trailer for the Matrix 2. Sod the story, the effects are amazing. Lets face it, thats the only reason people go to see it. The Hulk, meanwhile, is awful. It's a cartoon. I can't believe the film company actually released it looking like it does.

Spent todays Metaphysics lecture writing a further part for The Faculty. That should be up by the end of the week, and by gads, its a long one.

Heh. By gads. Now there's an expression that should be used more.

Oh! To avoid repeat present buying I've made myself an Amazon wishlist. Really its an excuse to go window shopping on the internet, but hey! Who cares.

Going ballroom dancing tonight, huzzah! A last minute social has been organised. There may well be a shortage of men, since Chris is acting all reluctant. So I guess Dan will make up for not dancing at the ball.

Watched McGyver: the Movie yesterday. Best 90 minutes of television ever! Also the worst. I swear, it makes Diagnosis Murder look like a documentary. It just throws history and science out of the window to show Rick Anderson with bouncey hair, or, as Hayley put it, "like a dead animal has been dropped from a great height onto his head."

Anyways, since nothing has happened... I'll bugger off to do some revision.
