Tony was never taught to say sorry

Whilst Tony Blair, in Parliamentary Question Time yesterday, was busy 'apologising' (but not using the 's' word), one of the Labour back benchers raised an interesting question.

If, as Tony now claims, our key reason for war was not the mythical weapons of mass destruction; if, as Tony now claims, the war can be justified on humanitarian grounds (torture, mass graves, restriction of civil liberties, etc) and the need to remove Saddam... why, up to the declaration of war, was the UK and US offering Saddam a deal in which he could remain in power?

Hmm?

Quote:
Peter: Lois, I'm gonna grow a beard.
Lois: Peter, you know I hate beards ...
Peter: No no Lois, it's time I joined the ranks of great men with beards. Why do you think Jesus Christ was so popular? Cause ... cause of all the magic tricks?
