Am working at my mum's office for a few days over the hols. Four days this week and 2 days next week. I can't really complain since I need the money. I'm tempted to buy Season One of DS9 on DVD, reasoning that I can use my wages, but then there's that pesky credit card bill sitting on my desk...

It's my birthday this weekend, woo! Go me. 21. Everything is legal. Well, most things were legal at 18. Just not, um, hiring a car. Well, since I can't drive, this benefit is wasted on me.

This weekend I am having a lovely meal with my friends on Saturday night, followed by a girly night - videos, popcorn, sleeping bags and bitching about men. Then on Sunday I'm reliving one of my childhood parties and dragging them off to the Chestnut Centre, an animal sanctuary near me which specialises in otters. Yes, I am sad, but I don't care. I like being me.

Hello Chris, if you're watching! He's very bored at the mo, shut up in Durham with no one to talk to apart from the woman in Safeways and me, when I'm on MSN. Oh, and Pet too. Poor him. He'll just have to keep downloading crap off the internet. Surely his user thingy won't be monitored over the hols?

And thanks go to Vessy! Who is helping me download anime (sneakily) while I'm at home. Still can't get a programme to work properly though. Media player will play the sound but no picture, and axi thingy will play the pic but no sound. So I had to run both of them at the same time and synchronise them. Not easy. But worth it. Must now download all the other episodes of Hack.
